With 50 parks in 21 counties around the UK, Berkeleyparks is a very well established and respected name in the park and leisure home world.

KINGFISHER PARK

In addition to their many residential parks around the UK, Berkeleyparks have a stunning holiday lodge development, Kingfisher Park in Essex, with great views of the river Crouch and prices start from £150,000 and ground rent at £3,500.

Kingfisher Park is a peaceful spot, with three lodges available to view and purchase as soon as you are ready, so if you want to avoid delays but are looking for a beautiful setting this should be a great target.

There are now also 35 new bases at this park, so that means it’s also a great time to reserve the plot of your choice if you are thinking of having a lodge built to your own preference and specifications. The park layout is available to view on their website now so you’ll be able to eye up plots ahead of booking an appointment to view

The peaceful River Crouch offers miles of scenic walks and beautiful countryside to take in, or alternatively you can  put your feet up in your state of the art Lodge that can be designed for you or by you. Whether you have a taste for a rustic traditional feel or a sharp clean look, your ideal Lodge is out there!  Your stay at Kingfisher park can be as adventurous or relaxing as you want it to be!

LAUNCH YOUR OWN COASTAL RETREAT LIFESTYLE

If you have a love of sailing and fishing, this park will have huge appeal. There are four yacht clubs within a mile and for those who prefer golf, a first class course within easy reach.

Close by is the antiques village of Battlebridge and the rural Essex countryside. At Leigh-on-Sea’s Heritage Centre you can hear about the town’s links with the Mayflower and the six little ships that helped the evacuation of the Dunkirk beaches so there’s plenty of interest to explore and enjoy nearby.

EASY TRANSPORT LINKS

Buses stop nearby going to Southend, Chelmsford and Basildon, all excellent shopping and entertainment centres. Southend has seven glorious miles of seafront with water sports, Sea Life Adventure Centre and the longest pleasure pier in the world with a railway.

The nearest railway station is at Rayleigh four miles away with trains to London Liverpool Street taking about forty minutes. Hullbridge has good shopping facilities including a library, Post Office and doctor’s surgery.

Llewelyn Holiday Park

If you’re looking for a Welsh Park where you can get away from the crowds and enjoy a little peace and quiet from, then another of Berkeleyparks’ holiday parks near Builth Wells fits that description admirably.

A small mixed Residential and Holiday Park situated in the most stunning Welsh countryside, Llewelyn Holiday Park is a short distance outside the attractive small market town of Builth Wells, home of the Royal Welsh Show.

HIDDEN TREASURES NEARBY

To the south is the Wye Valley and to the north the Cambrian Mountains. Six miles to the north is the spa town of Llandrindod Wells, with its lake and park. Some twelve miles north east are the Elan Valley reservoirs known as ‘The Welsh Lake District’ with its abundance of mountains, lakes, forests and unspoilt beauty, so although your drive into this park may make you think you’re in the middle of nowhere, you have a lot of hidden treasures to enjoy nearby, with plenty of great walks to enjoy. If you like to stay active you’ll find golfing, tennis, pony trekking, boating, fishing, climbing and many other activities nearby, but to be fair, this is the kind of location where you can enjoy real peace, quiet and seclusion well off the main tourist track.

Builth Wells has good day-to-day shopping facilities as well as doctors, dentist and library, and you can take your pet with you, so you should have everything you need if you want to stay there for significant periods of time. Why not make it a seasonal residence spending half your time here and in your other home if you can? We would!

If you’d like to try before you buy at Llewelyn to get a feel for the area, or would just like a short break in the area, there are four holiday homes for hire here and Berkeleyparks also have two glamping pods on the way.  Then if you decide it’s for you there’s a lodge for sale sited and ready for occupation – perfect!
