If you’re worried you’ve left it too late to book this year and you like a little luxury, then why not go for a break which represents the best of accommodation options combined with a really great seaside location?

PENALLY GRANGE

Penally Grange is an exclusive holiday park where holiday home ownership and short breaks are available.  Because it’s a relatively new park it has better availability than some, so it’s definitely one to take a look at to secure those last available spots this year, or early spots for next year if that’s what you’d prefer.

Penally has its own award-winning beach within walking distance of the park – perfect for swimming and angling and the good news is that dogs are welcome. Although this is a beautiful location, you won’t be over-run by the crowds here – it has a quaint and quiet feel which will suit you if you are a bit nervous about social distancing and things not being too busy.

Set on the edge of the charming village of Penally, this quiet park is just over a mile from Tenby and from here you can enjoy a spot of fishing, relax on Caldey Island or take a walk along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal path.

The village has its own leisure centre and just a short walk from the park you will find the excellent Grade 2 Listed Cross Inn which has been a pub for over 100 years, with an extensive menu and wide range of tempting beverages on offer.

TENBY

With it’s glorious beaches, fine Victorian houses and relaxing atmosphere Tenby is a popular choice for discerning visitors. Think miles of European Blue Flag winning sandy beaches, a picturesque working harbour, artisan shopping, and an abundance of restaurants and cafés to choose from as you potter around this pretty location.

CALDEY ISLAND AND PRIORY BAY

Nearby you’ll find plenty to do in addition to beachcombing and walking the coastal paths, with golf courses, horse riding, surfing and fishing all on offer, or you could even take a relaxing trip to Caldey Island and the beautiful Priory Bay, which you can just spot below if you look closely.  Caldey Island is known as one of Britain’s holy islands, and the Cistercian monks there continue to ensure that it’s a peaceful haven of prayer, tranquility and peace.
