We take a look at Ashby Woulds, the only UK luxury lodge park known to have received a 5 star rating by the National Tourist Board. If you’re looking for a really exceptional experience it makes sense to look at a name renowned for delivering exactly that.

Top end quality on a global scale

Tom Hartley Park & Leisure Homes is a name synonymous with absolute top-end quality on a global scale.  An expert high-end dealer in the luxury and performance supercar world, it’s fair to say Tom Hartley has been just as successful in the park home world.

None of his developments have been more successful than his exclusive boutique park at Ashby Woulds, opened in June 2013. That’s no doubt due to Tom’s aim of making it the very best park conceivable.

At Ashby Woulds you can either buy a lodge or enjoy a swift escape in the lap of luxury – the choice is yours. But be warned, one may lead to another – this is a park you’ll want to return to!

Location, location, location

Easily accessible for all Midlands cities and transport networks, there are over 85 attractions within a 45 minute drive from Ashby Woulds. It’s in a magnificent canal-side setting surrounded by countryside.

Another top-end park is planned for Welwyn Garden City after Ashby Woulds, so in addition to absolute top quality, the group offers brilliant locations.

A great track record

So how has the park performed so far?  Tom Hartley was listed as one of the ‘Top 500 companies to Inspire Britain’ by the London Stock Exchange. So the bar was set high from the outset.

We know lodges here have been snapped up fast, but Ashby Woulds have also topped the list as the most popular luxury destination with their booking agents too, attracting an unprecedented number of return visitors.

Absolute tranquillity – arrive, relax and unwind!

Well-being and relaxation has been taken to another level at Ashby Woulds. A qualified therapist is on-site, so a variety of treatments are on tap for both men and women. The list is extensive, and the ultimate in relaxation and pampering.  All in all it’s an exceptionally tempting proposition!

Lodges fit for royalty

At Ashby Woulds everything has been thought through to ensure the best possible visitor experience.  It’s a highly exclusive park, with just 20 bespoke hi-spec Omar lodges in total and plenty of green space. Each lodge has its own decking area with custom-built hot tub.

“Quality not quantity”, Tom Hartley insists. Even the mattresses and divan beds have been specially made by the same manufacturer used by the Queen.  Sound systems are fitted to all rooms via ceiling speakers. There are TVs in the bathrooms and all bedrooms, and iPod docks to most rooms.  All appliances are top-of-the-range-branded grade A models.

Tom adds: “We looked at every fine detail and we know our buyers have really appreciated that in full. That process included luxuries used by the finest hotels in the world, such as The Ritz.” It’s also the only UK luxury lodge park to have been awarded a 5 star rating for accommodation by the National Tourist Board.
