We’ve been following the progress of the Tamar View Holiday Park, a brand new luxury lodge location in a stunning valley setting.
Situated on the border between Devon and Cornwall, Tamar View has a beautiful location, with panoramic views of Tamar Valley and its famous bridge.
The Brean Beach Group purchased the park in November 2011, when it was known as Mount Pleasant Caravan Park. Detailed planning and extensive groundworks quickly followed the acquisition. Today the transformation is well underway.
We are delighted by how beautiful and how settled the park looks today. It’s clearly now a great prospect for potential holiday home owners.
Access to Tamar View is quick and easy. The location is tranquil, and with beaches within easy reach, there’s an abundance of attractions and activities nearby. The park is situated close to the port of Plymouth, a little inland between Whitsand Bay and Looe on one side and Bigbury Bay and Salcombe on the other.
From here all the beaches of Devon and Cornwall are within striking distance.
The Tamar Valley itself is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s particularly notable for its mining heritage, landscapes, and abundance of wildlife.
Tamar offers great value for such a top location
The views from the statics and lodges here really are something else. Get a quick feel for those by visiting the website.
All homes have front patio doors opening onto a 16 x 8 sun deck, parking space, and choice of pitch. Plus, it’s an 11 month season, offering great access for owners.
All 39 of the plots already released are positioned to enjoy the views. Several plots are already sold, but would-be lodge owners still have the opportunity to snap up something very special
There’s a range of statics and lodges for sale with prices starting from Victory Coaster at £34,950 through to a Monaco Duo 40 x 20 Lodge at £135,950. The licence for statics is 15 years, for lodges that extends to 30. Finance options available to help make it all easier.
At the group’s Notter Bridge Park in nearby Saltash buyers can choose holiday homes with either a river or woodland setting. This park is well-established, with a café, convenience store, supermarket and garage close by. The park also offers an information centre and direct access to the River Lynher for canoeing, boating and fishing.
Homes listed here may also be available for siting at Tamar View.
